It is in the Book of Akathists - if you would like a photocopy, please send me a mailing address and I'll make one for you.

It's lovely but I don't know if it's the official one used by any church, I hope someone can confirm it.

Re: Akathist to Saint Seraphim of Sarov
In actual fact, although that page has an icon of St Seraphim of Sarov, the akathist is to Bl. Seraphim Rose of Platina.
So if our brother will send me a mailing address (HELLO! I"M WAITING! ) I will send it to him.

My bad, now I wish I could take that link down. I'm not a big fan of Fr. Seraphim Rose and his belief in aerial toll houses.

Re: Akathist to Saint Seraphim of Sarov
Saint Seraphim is a saint who everyone could profit from knowing about. He's never been canonised in the Catholic Church but JP II refered to him as a saint several times it's worth noting.
Two quick stories about him. He was beaten badly by thieves at one point and walked with a hunch for the rest of his life. Yet at their trial he pleaded for mercy for them.
Once upon encountering him one individual remarked that a light shone forth from him.St Seraphim's reply was, 'That you could not see that light unless it also shone forth from you as well.'

I don't have the means of doing that - how about the address of a parish church I could send it to? The copy I have is from Orthodox Life that, in addition to the Akathist, has several excellent articles about the life of St Seraphim.
If there is someone near you here that I could mail this to for you to pick up, let me know.

Excellent point - one can find St Seraphim listed on Catholic Saints and he is extremely popular everywhere now.
Most Eastern Catholic saints were canonized/glorified by the Orthodox Church, even after the schism, but have been recognized as such by Rome.
In 1973, St Gregory Palamas was officially recognized by Rome as a saint.
Fr. Serge Keleher of Dublin once related that the Churches do not question each other's canonizations.
Indeed, Roman Catholic delegates are often present at major Orthodox canonizations, venerate the Relics and take away with them copies of the icons of the newly-glorified Orthodox saints.

Re: Akathist to Saint Seraphim of Sarov
Saints (ha) be perfect like the father is perfect.
Don`t make them sick, your favourite, do you really think that human thought was so relevant with their intrinsic knowledge of divine,(ha)
Wait for the comments and hear their sickness.
Seraphim thoughts, just normal, who do you think you are, you must be wrong.
Half full not empty.
Blessings......
Try me, Aarghhhh

Mark what are you actually trying to say? From what I can see you could be saying any number of things there.
