Temple of the Soul- God bless you as well and I prayed that you had a blessed Good Friday as well. I just don't want this thread to be all about myself and bragging on how I obtained a relic. However, I would like to share the good news with everyone.

It's funny how St. Brother Andre has been showing up in my life around the beginning of this month a friend of mine named Brother Charles Gareau, s.g. (who happens to make beautiful Rosaries for $5.00 each) <--My sincere apologizes if it seems like I'm trying to promote or sell anything.

http://forums.catholic.com/showthread.php?t=388770

Anyways, Brother Charles usually sends me a Catholic Magazine. This time he sent me a beautiful photo of him standing beside another beautiful painting of St. Brother Andre. That is the 1st photo

Also, this past month my mom received a letter of gratitude from the Discalced Carmelite Nuns of St. Joseph in Armstrong, B.C.

http://www.carmelspall.org

With a brief explanation of our new Canadian Saint (Of course and I'm sure all of you know that St. Brother Andre is not just a Saint for Canada but a Saint for us all) along with a Holy/Religious prayer card of St. Brother Andre.

And like I stated, on April.22nd/11/Thursday- Holy Thursday I was so honored and blessed to receive a Holy card, information, and a relic of St. Brother Andre. <--that is what the 2 photos are.

I will definitley keep your mom...everyone in my Prayers.

centurionguard-God bless you for sharing this information and what an outstanding picture. Have you visited or attended Mass at both places?

Blue Eyes- God bless you for posting about Ven. Fr. Solanus Casey. I've been to that website a few times for prayer intentions and ask for Ven. Fr. Solanus Casey's intercession.

spiritualunity- You're very welcome although I don't deserve all or any credit be thankful always to all of the Saints, Blessedes, Venerables, and Servant of Gods, as well as Our Blessed Mother, and Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Does anyone know if you can request a third class relic of Pope John Paul II?

You're welcome! I received the relic of Mother Teresa today too
I also requested a relic of Father McGivney.
http://www.fathermcgivney.org/mcg/index.html
This thread helped me to know great people
But let's all remember that the Holy Eucharist is far more important than relics

Just wanted to say that I received my Blessed Mother Teresa relic and I promptly gave it to my mom who was just recently diagnosed with Lung Cancer.

I also want to bring to everyone's attention that there are first class relics available of Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos. The relic is free but the cost of the nuns putting together the relic in its casing (theca) costs about $27. This is the only first class relic that I have seen offered (if there are other ones I am not aware of it).

Here's is the link to where you can get the relic of Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos http://www.seelos.org/relics_info.html

They also offer 2nd class and 3rd class relics if you cannot afford $27 for the first class relic. The 2nd and 3rd class relics go for about $2.00

God bless

TempleoftheSoul- I am so sorry to hear the upsetting news about your mom recently being diagnosed with lung cancer.

Thank you very much for bringing to our attention about Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos.

I would like to know if anyone knows of receiving a third class relic of Fr. Augustine Tolton?

http://www.toltoncanonization.org/default.htm

http://frtoltonhs.com/thebuilding/

I know that relics are NOT for sale but if you can suggest please offer them a donation.

Also, take the time to Pray for their canonization(s).

Today, May.4th,2011, Wednesday I was honored and blessed to receive all of this wonderful information and a relic of Ven. Fr. Solanus Casey.

God bless,
goforgoal

I'm not too sure about the exact date but either May.5th, 2011, Thurs. or May.6th, 2011, Fri. I received a holy card with a small particle of Blessed Franciso and Blessed Jacinta Marto's coffin and holy card with a small cloth of Servant of God Sr. Lucia of Fatima.

*That is the attachments/photos with prayers*

I emailed my prayer intentions along with requesting a relic from

pedidos@santuario-fatima.pt

http://www.santuario-fatima.pt/portal/index.php?lang=EN

http://www.fatima2017.org

I'm really honored and blessed to receive all of these wonderful relics they came at a time when I most needed them--you see last month and this month my (paternal) grandmother was dying sadly on Mother's Day May.8th, 2011, Sun. at 11:30 p.m. she left us.

http://forums.catholic.com/showthread.php?t=556564

I'm not too sure if my previous post made any sense but what I meant to say was I know that relics are NOT for sale but please offer them a donation (if you can) since postage, shipping and handling does cost money. The donation(s) may benefit there community, order, monastery, etc. Also, keep in mind to Pray for their beatifications and canonizations.

God bless,
goforgoal

I'm not too sure if this should go on another thread or not. However, on April.16th, 2011, Saturday- I requested a third class relic of St. Brother Andre. Now, I'm not too sure if it is a 2nd class relic or a 3rd class relic.

Yesterday, April.22nd, 2011, Thursday I received a letter from the St. Joseph's Oratory with a pamphlet on a brief information on St. Brother Andre, a Holy/Religious prayer card of St. Brother Andre, and a relic which states it is "Particle of Cloth worn by Brother Andre, C.S.C."

If you would like to request a relic please contact:

Father Mario Lachapell, CSC

Tel.: 514 733-8211

or email: MLachapelle@osj.qc.ca

or

Saint Joseph's Oratory

Telephone: 514 733-8211
Toll Free: 1 877-672-8647
Fax: 514 733-9735
General Information: pastorale@osj.qc.ca

Did you recieve any confirmation at all? I contacted them a few days ago and I'm not sure if I should be waiting to recieve the prayer card or some sort of confirmation.

For the St. Brother Andre holy card and relic I didn't receive a confirmation email but after Fr. Maio Lachapelle, c.s.c. sent me my the wonderful package of St. Brother Andre I emailed him a thank you letter.

I also sent out an email on behalf of my Auntie (since her home computer isn't working) and Fr. Mario Lachapelle, c.s.c. sent her a confirmation email.

I know I can't answer exactly for St. Joseph's Oratory and Fr. Mario Lachapelle, c.s.c. or anyone but maybe they are taking longer because it's being sent to a different country.

My suggestion is to be patient and just wait--but not only be patient and just wait--Pray.

Also, don't be upset if you don't receive anything at all like I suggested Pray.

Pray for their intercession.

Pray for their beatification or canonization.

This past month 2 weeks ago I received holy cards of the Martin Sisters along with a third class holy relic of St. Therese of Lisieux

http://www.martinsisters.org/

The holy prayer cards of the Martin sisters are laminated and have a Prayer on the back.

http://www.martinsisters.org/holy_cards.html

I also requested a holy prayer card of St. Gemma Galgani from this website

http://www.stgemmagalgani.com/

I received two holy prayer cards of St. Gemma Galgani this past week. The person wrote me back and stated that the holy prayer card was touched to a First class relic which makes it a Third Class relic

http://www.stgemmagalgani.com/2008/1...oly-cards.html

* I do apologize if any of the following websites are not appropriate for CAF.*
