Thanks

it is not meat, why would you think it is wrong to drink oj with a meal? the only thing allowed between meals for those who are bound by fasting is water and medicine

From EWTN (http://www.ewtn.com/faith/lent/fast.htm):

Fasting ...The fast is broken by eating between meals and by drinks which could be considered food (milk shakes, but not milk). Alcoholic beverages do not break the fast; however, they seem contrary to the spirit of doing penance.

I had only coffee for breakfast and I would think that juice would be ok. But I'm new to this so what do I know

Like you said, definitely not milkshakes. Though Lord knows I love Chick-fil-a shakes.
