Diocese of Fort Worth - Wichita Falls, TX
Hello,
My wife and I just found out that we will be moving from East Tennessee (Tri Cities) to Wichita Falls, TX in a couple of months. We are very fortunate where we are at now to have wonderful Priests and Deacons as well as orthodox liturgy and teaching. We have also made a great many connections and friends in our current parish.
We have been looking at parishes in Wichita Falls online and I was hoping that perhaps someone on here was in that area or at least new of the Diocese in general and local parishes specifically and could offer some input and thoughts. In addition, my wife and I both volunteer with our local campus ministry and that is something we would likely want to continue in our new location as well.
Any thoughts? God Bless!

Ah so you must know Father Akata. I used to live in Johnson City.
Good luck in your move.

Absolutely. What a great man! He did our marriage convalidation and officiated the Easter Vigil where my wife and I were confirmed.

Any others who might have thoughts on the Diocese or individual Parishes in Wichita Falls?
