I don't really like the Passion of Christ. It is a hollywood movie.

But I have watched it twice and have cried tears everytime I do.

What I feel awkward is Jim Caviezel playing Jesus, while he had done many secular movies.

I like Jesus Movie which was made in 1979 instead

I watch the movie Karol with discretion, I also wanted to know his real life But I have only gotten 2 parts so far. I dislike the inappropriate kissing and hugging. Be careful Lui. Usually I just fast forward it or cast my eyes down

You don't seem to like Hollywood movies but 'The Song of Bernadette' is also a Hollywood movie and is great.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rpd7_6qg2Po

Here is the Jesus movie(not a Hollywood movie) that is considered to be one of the best but it is in Italian The Gospel According to St. Matthew:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-y8fQ...eature=related or you can buy(or rent) it here: http://www.amazon.com/Gospel-Accordi...0336839&sr=8-5 You can actually just watch the Italian version because the dialog is accurately based on the Gospel of St. Matthew.

I didn't think the kissing and hugging is inappropriate in the Karol movie. Why? Kissing and hugging isn't a sin. Anyway I don't mind these kind of scenes. If I would be shocked by these scenes I wouldn't be able to watch anything on TV

Actually I don't watch tv

I don't know, maybe I am weak. If I see people kissing and hugging, I tend to think impure thoughts. So I don't want to commit that sin against Jesus, I just fast forward it.

May the merciful Jesus bless you Lui.

You like saints books and saints movies, so do I. But the appropriate ones. Song of Bernadette's movie star is too pretty for me, so I do not watch it

I talked to my confession priest about this. He told me that having impure thoughts isn't really a sin. I mean to a certain extent of course. He said if a person is too cautious he might sin that might lead to Scrupulosity. Of course it's your own choice what you chose to watch and what to avoid

I liked Song of Bernadette but I also thought she is much prettier compared to the real Bernadette for movie reasons but the actress of the two other Bernadette movies is extremely pretty as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fo4FUz6swyI

The actress who plays St. Lucia in The Miracles of Fatima is much prettier as the real St. Lucia too. That's the movie business

You just type the right keywords, such as St. Bernadette, St. Padre Pio, St. Therese of Lisieux, and they will come up.
