"Go to first new post" not working correctly

I've been having problems with the little "Go to first new post" arrow not working correctly. Some times it works fine, but other times it doesn't seem to be registering that I've visited the thread recently. I've tried deleting my cookies, but that doesn't seem to have helped either.

Ummm, that happened to me as well a few weeks ago.

I did this and it worked for me.

1. Logged out of CAF.
2. Deleted cookies.
3. Deleted temporary internet files
4. Deleted history files.

I am not sure if you have to do all this, but it worked for me so I just included everything. Let me know if you get it to work or not.
