Default Catholic Bible Free Download

Douay Rheims Bible: http://www.drbo.org/
New Jerusalem Bible: http://www.catholic.org/bible/
New American Bible: http://www.vatican.va/archive/ENG0839/_INDEX.HTM

You can download this bible using this free program:

Actually the bible that I use, http://www.sacredbible.org/files/CPD...11%20final.pdf from the site sacredbible.org
is really translated by this guy named Ron, it isn't approved by the holy see, but I liked it a lot.

It says a new translation of the Latin Vulgate, using the Douay Rheims as a guide. He named it Catholic Public Domain Version.

I found it when I was looking for a free catholic bible in pdf form to download. And is really satisfied. I read the psalms every day, as a breviary.

That depends on each person though.

I personally recommend the Douay Rheims bible (http://www.drbo.org/). It is with excellent commentaries. Read it every day. It will help your faith.

Reading the scriptures has become a joy to me now

If you like an actual bible, Jerusalem Bible is a good choice

The New Jerusalem Bible is good. However, the Douay-Rheims Bible does not have the best English, since it was translated in the 17th century.
