How much does the Pope earn
How much does the Pope earn a year, like Benedict XVI I am sure has expenses like others, I know he owns a house.
Wtih the some of his salary he should by himself some new more comfertable shoes, they look too awfulle, poore thing

$0 brut.  Well, the Pope has some private coffers, but he isn't on a salary. It's a bit the same as with monarchs who don't really use money. They guarantee the legal tender with their own signatures, images etc, so they are "above it". On the other hand, it has some relation with the Christian ideals of poverty, as well.

His salary is zero.His expenses are paid by the church,but he does not have a salary.

If I'm not mistaken, JPII died with pretty much nothing to his name besides his favorite pair of shoes.

The pope receives his salary after he passes away - he is buried with it. He receives one gold, silver, and copper euro coin for each year of service. I believe JPII was buried with just over 100 euro.
