Question where can I learn about the saints

i'm looking for somewhere (hopefully a website) where I can learn about the saints. all I can seem to find concerns defending the intercession of saints and I was really hoping to learn about the saints. I was just inspired by my orthodox friend who told me about what he had learned about at church, and I'm really hoping to build a good foundation like that for myself. what I'm really looking for is something like a lesson which is hopefully is in chronological order. it's times like these that I really wish that I could go to catholic school instead of this depressing public school /:

What exactly are you looking for? I like to use this website - http://saints.sqpn.com/ I like it because it has a list of Saints and what they are Patrons of. It also gives a little history. I don't know about anything that would be in a lessen format... so this probably isn't what you are looking for...

There is a website by American Catholic that gives you a calendar with the patron saint of the day (typically based on feast day.) You can click on the link to the Saint and get some information about them, see some of their quotes, etc.

When I find a Saint that I can relate to or that I find particularly interesting, I also Google their name to see if they have a Shrine or an official association. I find a lot of great information about Saints on their Shrine or Association websites.

If you have an iPhone/iTouch/iPad the "Saint of the Day" app is also available.
