Cool, I found the new clubhouse. Back to the Star Wars discussion. This actually is only the second of the six movies I saw at the theater (the other being the first Star Wars movie, called just Star Wars in the late 70's, now called Star Wars : A New Hope). The other four parts I watched on video tape or DVD.

Ridesawhitehorse is thinking.....<"Star Wars? Oh no. Maybe I won't fit in here. I'll just act cool like I know what I'm talking about".>
Yeah, Star Wars... That whole cold war thing was sorta scary huh? Thank God for Reagan and John Paul II.

That's far from the only thing discussed here, it was just the last thing mentioned in the last version. I recommend lurking since there really is no single topic discussed, just usually fun with friendship and support when needed and asked for.

I was just being cheeky. I actually did see the original Star Wars in .. what was it 1976 or something? I was about 13 or so when it came out. Didn't really hook me so I never saw any of the others.
I was more of a Star Trek TNG girl.

Would you women think I was a cad if I told you my wife and I went to see Star Trek: Nemesis on our honeymoon?

I would say you probably had your priorities in order as long as it was both your idea. Honeymoons are over-rated Hubby and I loaded up our horses and went riding after our wedding --- before anything else... uh-hummm. The trail ride was our best memory.

Lovely couple. That would be me on the left.
Oh no - not Star Trek the original. I mean Star Trek TNG (The Next Generation). Jean-Luc, Riker, Data, et all.

It's a nickname for Curmudgeon and I found two definitions on dictioary.com

1. An ill-tempered person full of resentment and stubborn notions.

or

2. a crusty irascible cantankerous old person full of stubborn ideas

Others can fill you in on more details. I am a "mudgie" myself. For the fun loving bunch, I think the second one fits best though in my worst moments the first definition applies to me.
