Is he drawn to authentic Catholic teaching, in east county San Diego then St. Ephrem's (Meronite rite) Fr. Nabil is AWESOME

in El Cajon next to Our Lady of Grace.

Is he drawn to more traditional Roman liturgy => St. Anne's (Latin Trindentine) <- <3 it

More interested in the conservative Roman rite novus order Our Lady of the Rosary downtown/little Italy with Fr. Louis Solcia
Santa Sophia is in Spring Valley but I've never attended their Masses

they have a school so they should have an active community
St. John of the Cross in Lemon Grove I wouldn't recommend, however the priest who was short of canonizing obama in his homily has retired

so I don't know anymore. I do know that it is very family oriented.
There is also St. Kieran's in El Cajon but I don't know.

I would recommend churches that have the Tabernacle front and center, versus those that hide and you have to go seek the Tabernacle

love seeing Jesus placed front and center
