But it's not a question of rights--I don't think anyone implied that they didn't have the right to do it. But I do tend to question whether it was wise, to change the name to something so similar to the name of a magazine that has been around for over 20 years.
But I'm sure they thought it through more than I can have done.

I hope so ....I am sure if I were OSV I might feel like it was an infringement and could have been thought through a bit more carefully in a Christian way. I Loved the older ' This Rock ' and I really like the new format. I especially like how they give us a heads up on the difficulty level. When I only have few minutes to read I don't have to get into something that really needed a good 30mins and a cup of tea set aside! My daughter was able to use one article - on Wicca- for her 12th grade religion class already.

Re: The magazine formerly known as This Rock
I have subscribed to Crisis, Catholic Answer, This Rock and Envoy. I kept all subscriptions up to date. But now I only get Catholic Answer. Found all the magazines very helpful in my growth of the faith but they seem to have vanished.
I used to read them during my work breaks which was great. I guess some are now on line but that does not happen for me during work since I have no access to a computer. Furthermore, I have cataracts and can look into the light of a computer screen for no more than about 2 minutes.

Crisis has gone to an on-line only version.
Re cataracts: Had mine removed a couple of weeks ago. The surgery is quick and painless; really painless, the only pain was the insertion the IV needle. I have 20/20 in both eyes and can read large, bold print. That seems to be improving. Will get glasses, if needed, next month.
