Re: Anxiety, Depression, and Panic Attacks
Thank you to all of you. Hopefully I can get myself together soon. I am taking some time off to try to understand the source of my anxiety and try to deal with it.

Re: Anxiety, Depression, and Panic Attacks
Although not always able to be online, I'm praying.
Suffering is only understood best by our Lord who knows the
ultimate suffering and therefore understands better than anyone.
He extends His arms of love to carry us THROUGH the suffering.
(not always "around" the suffering) Trust Him to bring good
out of what may seem evil...the God who created you and knows
you is ABLE. In ourselves we can do NOTHING. This will be
HIM working in you.
Love in Him,
mlz

Re: Anxiety, Depression, and Panic Attacks
Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Re: Anxiety, Depression, and Panic Attacks
The LORD bless you
and keep you;
the LORD make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
the LORD turn his face toward you
and give you peace.” Num 6:24-26
Continued prayers.

Re: Anxiety, Depression, and Panic Attacks
I understand your pain and suffering. Depression can take a toll on one's life. Asking for prayers and praying for you.
Lord, grant LSUpathdoc strength to overcome all his pain and suffering. Ask God to heal your fear, anxiety, and worries. Let the Lord give you his serenity and protection.
Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning,
is now,
and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.
God Bless You

Re: Anxiety, Depression, and Panic Attacks
lately my anxiety has gotten so so much worse. It has started to become every morning and I am so so scared that this is permanent. I am terrified that I have to live with waking up every day terrified. I am scared that the life that I knew is over and I am stuck in this constant anxiety. God I beg you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me. If not for me but for my wife and my unborn child. I need you now! I feel like my life is crashing down around me.

Re: Anxiety, Depression, and Panic Attacks
I will pray for peace, and I hope the following passages help:
Matthew 6:25
That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life-whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn't life more than food, and your body more than clothing?
Matthew 6:31-33
So don't worry about these things, saying, 'What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?' These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
1 Peter 5:7
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
Matthew 6:30
And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?
Philippians 4:6-7
Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus
Matthew 6:27-29
Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don't work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are.
