A wet washcloth over your eyes. It seems like the water helps to relax the area around the eyes and adds the perfect about of weight. Other than that, offer it up or take some cough medicine, cold medicine, or whatever has the pain med in it. The extra stuff won't hurt you once.

A hot, hot, wet washcloth on your head, lying down in the dark and quiet, and try to go to sleep. But if you're a little nauseated, you may try a cold wash cloth.

This sounds gross and I never actually tried it, but my great-uncle used to soak a rag in vinegar and put it on his head and lay down. Maybe the smell took his mind off the pain? Who knows?

Hope you feel better soon. A headache knocks you off your feet sometimes.

Could the headache be from stiffness in your neck or the back of your head? When I get headaches it's often from a really stiff muscle in my neck. Try to feel down your neck from the bottom of your skull downward toward your shoulders. If there is an area that is painful when pressed you can use "accupressure" to try to get the knot out of your neck. Firm pressure for 30 seconds then release and repeat. Another method to help your neck is to take your hand and put it over your head with your fingers on your temples. GENTLY pull your head to one side stretch out your neck. Do the opposite side. See if you get a release. Massaging temples can also help. Good luck! A headache can be so miserable!
