Loving God,

We lift our prayers and intentions for the healing and reconciliation of Cagrl's family, and we ask for your mercy, strength, and perseverance for them during this very difficult time of trial and challenge. Lord, please intervene in the life of her daughter and help her to make good choices and listen to your call through the love of responsible people you send into her life. Please help the parents to be courageous and loving as they work to return this beloved daughter to their home. Please send the family members help in this situation through the assistance of others and the protection of their guardian angels. We know you love each of us and want the best for us, please help this family to endure this trial with grace and protect the daughter from harm and bad influences.

We lift our prayers in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your people.

Amen.

Praying for your intentions….

Lord Jesus, You have said, "Learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart." With confidence in Your loving heart which offers rest to weary souls, we come to You in this time of special need. In Your unfailing love, read the prayer that is written on our hearts, and grant the grace that we ask of You, in accordance with Your holy will. In Your name we pray. Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, and sought thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother, to thee I come, before thee I stand sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate! Despise not my petitions, but, in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.

Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be Thy Name,
Thy Kingdom come,
Thy will be done on earth
as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those
who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil .
Amen .

Hail Mary full of grace .
The Lord is with Thee .
Blessed art Thou amongst women
And blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus .
Holy Mary Mother of God ,
pray for us sinners ,
now and at the hour of our death .
Amen .

Glory be to the Father
and to the Son
and to the Holy Spirit
As it was in the beginning is now ,
and ever shall be , world without end .
Amen

UPDATE:
Hello all, I just wanted to write to give you all an update since you were all so kind to pray for my daughter, husband and my marriage. My daughter came home back in September 19, 2011 and two days later I drove her to a theraputic boarding school. She has been there since receving the therapy and healing that she so desperately needed. We saw her for the first time two weeks ago and we were AMAZINGLY surprised and how changed she is. She has been working really hard on herself and my husband and her have made HUGE strides and forgiving each other. They have both come a long way. My daughter is working on her anger, anxiety, self-esteem, grades and so many other things. I am so grateful first of all to JESUS and MARY for being with her every step of the way. Secondly, thank you for your prayers for my daughter. God is so good to me and my family and I appreciate HIS love so much. My daughter even asked us to take her to confession and mass while visiting as she said that when she was back at home she never really made a good confession since she didn't really care. I have continued to pray for her and will continue and KNOW that God will bring her through all of this and good things are yet to come. ALL OF THIS IS FOR HIS GLORY AND ONLY HIS GLORY!! Thanks be to JESUS!!

Also, do any of you happen to know if confession can be done via a letter to our priest? Can a priest absolve ones sins via a letter or does it have to be done in person? She is not allowed to leave the school and would like to do confession at least once a month.

Blessings all!

I am so happy to hear about your daughter's return. It reminds me of the Prodigal Son story. And what a moment of grace for your family. Thanks be to God.

As far as Confession goes, it must always be done in person. A priest cannot absolve any other way.

God bless, and I hope she finds the opportunity to confess regularly.
