Neither! (kidding, I try to sleep at night, but I am a night owl, so I would prefer to sleep in the morning - 3 am to 11 am would be my ideal sleeping time!)
conventional snap mouse trap or sticky trap?

This is an absurd choice to be considering right now.
Sticky trap - I have never seen those fail.

Because of what's going on in the world (and also because of prices), I'd travel IN THIS COUNTRY for the time being.
Speaking of which: Alaska or Hawaii?

Neither (since we have a king snake [and the occasional rattlesnake] which "eat" mice...so that they don't "eat" us "out of house and home").
Speaking of snakes: suffer from ophidiaphobia (fear of snakes), or not?
