There is a drug that can be applied onto the scalp that prevents the loss of hair in men (not women....sorry). It was dropped by the company developing it because it was not cost effective for them and also because the powder form needs to be mixed into an alcohol and once it is mixed with alcohol it only lasts a month before it loses its effectiveness. Therefore people have to mix themselves each month. This was seen as too complicated for the drugs company to develop further.

The chemical passed phase 1 and phase 2 of the drug tests (these phases ensure it is safe to use). However you can never be sure with any drug how truly safe it is, although most believe it is safer then the currently FDA approved medications that stop hair loss.

The patent has expired on the drug and there are a number of people who use it with success, however it needs to be made. I know people who make it and I am thinking of buying it in bulk wholesale and selling it for small mark-up.

I think you need to ask yourself if what you would like to do is actually legal or not. I don't know the answer to that, but it seems that may be the place to begin in answering your own question.

Yes it is legal. That was the first thing I covered. If the drug was still patented then no it would not be legal. Thanks for your advise though.
