A friend visiting a cat owner's house commented on how the man stroked the fur of his pet.
"Does it hurt when you rub them the opposite way?"
"I don't know, try it." The cat owner got up and went to get coffee, and the visitor walked over and rubbed the cat the opposite way, beginning from her tail to her head.
When the cat owner came back, there was his friend yowling in pain with three long scratches on his arm.
"It does! It does!" he screamed.
