The Cross and the Switchblade
Discussion is free to begin on the Cross and the Switchblade by Reverend David Wilkerson.
It is the thrilling true story of a country preacher's fight against teen-age crime in big-city slums.

I remember being at church one day and this guy who "caught the spirit" was running around the church. It's a real pentecostal/charismatic atmosphere where tongues and "prophecies" abound.
You know Rev Wilkerson died in a car accident this year right?
I guess I'd prefer to focus more on Catholic books at this point on my journey.

I did now know that Rev. David Wilkerson died!!!!! God Bless him. Well he was immensly blessed and fortunate to be chosen by God to do work such as he has done.
Well a great Catholic book to read is Story of a Soul.
