I think Michael "I'm So Poor" Schiavo's whines during the last few weeks were the source. He spent her money mostly on legal fees and the lawyers were saying they hadn't been paid blah blah blah. Then there were the million dollar offers to turn Terri over to her parents that he rebuffed so people concluded it wasn't about keeping Terri's money. However she'd barely breathed her last when Michael was having her estate turned over to him. No wonder he wanted to stay married to her! The estate is quite substantial. Further Blind Justice Greer ruled that MICHAEL died (too bad it wasn't prophetic).

At any rate clearly there is money in it for him. The man is total bottom feeder.

Maggie OH has alot of research on this case, she feels strongly there is a scientology connection too.

I agree. If Felos's agenda is not exposed for what it is, it will just be a matter of time before euthanasia becomes an accepted way to deal with the disabled, elderly, anyone who is not deemed to have a "quality" life.

Can anyone verify this?

http://www.theempirejournal.com/6210...w_yorks_pr.htm

According to this article, the ACLU helped fund Michael Shavio's case.

Wow, you're good! I checked it out. It says that the ACLU joined with him and filed briefs. Doesn't say if they helped pay Felos and company.

This is a very presumptous statement.
It is always easy to be on the outside looking at someone else's pain and presume to know how you would handle it.

You don't.
You did not lose a daughter, and you did not lose a daughter in this unique way.

The Schindlers are privy to information you do not have. They know Michael better than you do. Heck, at one point they allowed him to live with them because he couldn't afford rent.

You cannot possibly know what is a waste of time and what is not because you don't know all the facts. Neither do I.

It makes sense that this case should be scrutinized. Attempts should be made to find lost records. Those who claim records were destroyed need to be reinterviewed.
The hospice needs to be investigated for violating federal regulations that were clearly violated in Terri's case.

There are a great many different issues this case has brought up that need to be examined so that this type of evil does not become commonplace.

If everyone says "let's move on" then alot of evil will be happy to hide in dark places that will never get exposed to the light.

The cause of death is officially undetermined and the investigation remains open.

Thogmartin stated that he based his findings on medical reports and records provided by Gary Fox, one of two medical malpractice attorneys for Michael Schiavo. He specifically noted that he could not have completed the autopsy without these reports. He also stated that "a lot of records have been destroyed" and that the case would remain open because of the missing documents in hopes that someone might come forward with them.

He said that the anoxic brain injury sustained by Terri Schiavo in1990, was caused by lack of blood flow and oxygen to her brain but that the cause of that condition could not be detected and was undetermined. He did not rule out that the injuries could have been caused by smothering.

He said that there was no evidence of bulimia and the assumption of bulimia presented at the medical malpractice trial had simply been accepted and not challenged. He said there was absolutely nothing to support the theory of bulimia as presented by MS's attorneys.

He also ruled out the 15-year non-sense presented by the media that she had sustained a heart attack. He stated that her collapse was the result of an "external problem outside of the heart causing the heart not to beat". He said there was no evidence that she had had any heart problems prior to her collapse and said that the fact she lived 15 years after her resuscitation was testimony to the strength of her heart.

He disputed the potassium inbalance caused by purging and bulimia theory perpetuated by the media, Michael and his attorneys saying there was absolutely no evidence of such.

Terri was suffering from bladder andurinary tract infections and pneumonia and had not been treated with antibiotics. He stated "She could have lived another decade" if she had been provided treatment for those infections".

Thogmartin contradicted himself during the press conference at one point saying that Terri would not have been able to eat or drink orally but later emphatically stated that she had sustained an anoxic brain injury and with the feeding tube removed, she would have been able to eat and drink by mouth.

Michael and his attorney make my skin crawl. I can't believe that he would strike out at the family from a tombstone.
