Default I'm Out of the Loop. What the heck is the Curmudgeon Club??!!

I keep seeing these threads about the Curmudgeon Club. And I am wondering...WHAT THE HECK IS THE CURMUDGEON CLUB??!! I have been on these forums for almost a year now and I feel so out of the loop. Can someone fill me in? I tried reading through the threads but they weren't making sense to me. Some of your profiles have references to the club. Is it a "No StratusRoses club?"

It's where us old grumps go to take a break from the arguments on the other threads. If you like to gripe, come on in.

I enjoy a good gripe. But what's a "Curmudgeon?" Does it even mean anything?

Of course it means something. Here's a definition from an online dictionary:

cur·mudg·eon ( P ) Pronunciation Key (kr-mjn)
n.
An ill-tempered person full of resentment and stubborn notions.

I believe GeezerBob was speaking on behalf of himself - but I am not as old, a woman and still a Curmudgeon. Age is not a factor.

In fact - sometimes on a given day I can beat out any 'ole Mudgie ( our nickname).

All new members welcome. Just bring your sorry, ornery disposition to the clubhouse and I'll put you on the roster.
If you are happy, then you need to go to the Crazy internet Junkie's clubhouse for processing, giggles, doughnuts, and sunshiny love.

If you have a really good sense of humor, and you like to mess with Mudgies and Trogs, then join the noids-the Annoymous paranoid Catholic Answers alliance, known as A.P.C.A.A., we like to go over to the trogs cave and tease them after they come in to our room and try to make us even more paranoid, as if.

Hey, where do the folks go who are paranoid, ornery and have a sense of humor?

I'm in the club. I do miss the old mildew, rat infested clubhouse that always smelled like cigar smoke.
