Good afternoon, Dawn,

Yes, ma'am!

The Devil is said to be expert at mixing truth and lies.

And, seductive is a very good word to describe Harry Potter. The trailers of the movie and advertisements showing Harry Potter and friends riding broom sticks warned me that the series included witch craft.
Years ago, after I met a white witch, I learned that white witchcraft is like white beaches on a pleasant island of witch craft, the interior of which is deep, evil black witch craft.

God loves you,
Don

There is a 4-day Lenten Parish Mission I hope to attend (all 4 days).

Thanks Be To God!

I'm attending a 4-day Mission at a local Church with a Priest from the Fathers of Mercy .

The Talks he is giving are full of Wisdom. He has a great Charism, like we used to recognize in Father Corapi (God The Holy Spirit). Anyway, one story he told last night concerned a very Wise Priest he was in the company of once, at Election Time. A Parishoner approached and explained that he was not one of those "one issue voters," that he considers many things.

The Priest said he had a question for him. He said: It's in the middle of the night, your house is dark, your family in their beds when an intruder breaks in. He grabs you and holds a razor-sharp surgical blade to your throat.

What matters now?
How many "issues" will you consider?

The man walked away, head down, speechless.

Good afternoon, Dawn,

Yes. Right to life is my main issue. I do look for other issues, as well. How does a candidate treat our Constitution? Does a candidate stand for traditional marriage? Does a candidate favor gun rights? Does a candidate favor a balanced budget amendment? Does a candidate stand firm for Israel's right to life and sovereignty?

You notice, economics comes almost last. Then, foreign affairs.

And, I prefer to go by a candidate's track record on those affairs, rather than any recent flip flop.
It's my politically naive opinion that a candidate whose values reflect the above will also want a responsive to market and public pressure health care system, not Obamacare.

God loves you,
Don

This same Priest said one day-and it may be soon-it may cost you your life to believe like you do.

Prayerfully, we will each be strong enough to not deny Him.

Therefore, He will not deny us to His Father (I don't know you).

The Priest said these will have a great crown in Heaven.

God Bless you.

I think it was Cardinal George of Chicago who said that he would probably die in his bed. He said his successor would probably die in prison and his successor's successor would probably be martyred.

God bless,
Dan

Fundamentalists say, there is no beast or false prophet or mark yet, since there is no literal, one-man Antichrist or microchip. You foolish ones, you limit the Scriptures through your literalism.

I say unto you, there is already a beast and false prophet, that has reigned for forty years, in a figurative sense: it is this apostate world that says, we can fully ignore God and nevertheless prosper in blasphemous material glory.

And the mark? It was already for some 50 years in communism: deny in your mind, that is, in your forehead, your belief in God, or we will torture you, imprison you, kill you.

And now the mark is entering our society: take the mark in your hand, in order that the "works of your hands" might be evil: participate and assist others in mortal sin, artificial birth control or abortion, or take the consequences, Jail, loss of business, etc

Thought this was a good read. And also somewhat prophetic.

I heard something similar from one of the Deacons in my Parish. He said they were told at a retreat that the young priests just coming in must be prepared to suffer martyrdom. And on that note..........I sometimes watch Johnette Benkovich (EWTN) before going to bed (if I'm not too tired) This was exactly the subject last night. The general message was: get yourself prepared spiritually, we are looking at persecution head on.

Good morning, Callin,

Yes it was a good read and it did contain accurate prophecy. Thank you for sharing this.

I finally get to revoke my lurker status for the day, since I may actually have something to add to the conversation. The following is a link to a Glenn Beck video about the song "The day the music died". I always thought it was about the Buddy Holly plane crash, but Glenn makes a case that it is actually about the death of America. Apologize if you've already seen it, but I thought it was worth passing on.
