Default God Is Calling Me...

I have been struggling lately in discerning where to go lately and throughout all my prayers he remained silent. Today God tapped me on the shoulder and is directing me to travel to the first basilica in the United States for a weekend of reflection at St. Paul's Cathedral and The Basilica of St. Mary in Minneapolis.

I don't know what I am going to find there, but I know it is God calling me.

If God is calling you, then you will find God waiting there for you. I will pray for your success .......

Thank you. I debated putting this in the "prayer request" section, but decided it was more suitable here. Any and all prayers I can have for this coming weekend will be a great help though. I will most certainly encounter a lot of confusing things as I enter into a deep discernment for this weekend.

Thank you, all
Joshua

This last weekend was just what I needed. God definitely put me where I needed to be. I spent a lot of time in prayer and meditation. He answered many of my calls and gave me peace where there was previously despair.

I asked many questions and he did not fail to reply. I realized some things that had never crossed my mind and I am all the better for it.

I took a ton of pictures of the basilica and of St. Paul's shrine. Both places were extremely gorgeous and I was very blessed to have the opportunity to see them.

God's blessings,
Joshua

I am so glad you found what you were searching for. I hope your journey is just beginning, and you continue to find the "fruits of teh Spirit."

Here is the altar of St. Paul's

And of St. Mary's Basilica

I had so many profound moments kneeling at both of them!
