Haha... or that I shouldn't have gotten married because it's been a year and I still have just reasons to avoid having kids.

This is very common in forums though. I have no problem with people disagreeing with me, but do not tell me I am not a true Catholic or a bad person because I disagree (especially when it is on a subject that the Church has NO stance on (like tattoos).
Yup, absolutely. And same here, and I too have been called names.

By the way, FB is only like that if you have friends/family that are that way. Mine aren't. It is a good way for me to give updates on life to family and friends and helps me keep in contact even though I have a busy schedule and live in a different time zone. Also I can show my family pictures of us at important parts of our lives. Like my family couldn't afford to fly out when I was confirmed, but at least they got to see pictures. Also I can see pictures of what is going on with my family. Like what is going on with my sister who lives in Mexico. I only can afford to go see her and the rest of my family at most twice a year, but usually only once. My family is close so it is hard.
This is true as well... I see a couple people on here talking about all the fights and horror stories going on between their facebook friends/family, and I have to say I've never witnessed anything like that. I just figured the people who claim this must know some pretty "interesting" folks.

FB is what you and your friends/family make of it. Unfortunately with forums there will always be trolls and people who just want to call you names and rip you apart. I have made some good friends here though, but the longer I stay on, the more I question whether it is worth it to continue on here.

LOVE Facebook.

I have connected with distant family members. I've built a lot of business on my biz page. And I've reconnected with a lot of childhood friends. That's been the most fun. People I went to school with for years, but over time we moved, had families etc.

I've helped plan high school reunions, though FB. Made it a cake walk! And now nearly our whole class is connected. It's not like we're all bff's, but it has helped many people.

I've seen people help others spread resumes, and jobs have been gotten.

So there is a lot of GOOD to be had.

Certainly, there can be other issues. I actually learned that one of my "friends" was an absolute tramp. Her lack of common sense in posting, well let's just say, I won't be networking through her. And that's a GOOD THING for me. It saves my reputation.

You do sometimes learn just how petty some people can be. It's weird to be "defriended". But incredibly educational.

I worry about kids that don't understand the permanence of stupidity when posted on the web.

Since FB, my e-mail has quit filling up with forwards of jokes and such. They just land on FB! That's kinda nice.

I do not worry about offending non believers with my posts. If they don't like them, they can defriend me. If they want to NICELY discuss it, we can. If they want to be rude. I'll block them. So simple.

I do not engage in political discussions on FB. Or with just about anyone really.

Personally, I consider CAF contributes to my spiritual growth and also allows me to be a,t the service of others BUT, deep down, I know I spend too much of my free time on here, and, that many posters would benefit more from my prayers than my replies.... I just. can't. put it down
I like CAF more, honestly, and I'm 14 lol. I check facebook about meh 4 times a day. I am on CAF like all the time if I'm not at school. I love you guys!
