To my knowledge It doesn't say when Eve died. Some believe Eve was figurtive to teach theology while others believe she was real. I personaly believe she was a real and the (besides Adam) FIRST HUMAN BEING, that is the first human being with a soul (created in the image of God), but I also believe in pre-Adam and Eves, creatures evolving into human beings directed by God.

It doesn't (though the Bible does record Adam's lifespan).

Just curious - why do you ask?

Assuming that Eve would share the same final fate as Adam:

Genesis 17:19
By the sweat of your face shall you get bread to eat, Until you return to the ground, from which you were taken: For you are dirt, and to dirt you shall return.

I cannot assume; I need to know. God only said that to Adam, but to Eve he said otherwise.

Just as well, Genesis 17:19 does not say that. That is the verse from Genesis 3:19.

The Bible doesn't mention Eve's death . . . so the best anyone can do is speculate.

1 Corinthians 15:22-"For as all die in Adam, so all will be made alive in Christ."

If all die in Adam, presumably Eve was one of the all who die. The only difficulty with using this to prove that Eve died is that, when the verse is interpreted this way, you run into the theory that Hell is empty (because 'all will be made alive'), which is, as far as I know, not approved by the Church.

My observation is a little off topic, but don't some Mormons believe that the apostle John is still alive based on John 21:20-23?

+ + + + + + + + + + + + + + + +

That's why we should show to our own selves and to God that we really want hell to be empty and for all creation to go back to the Creator. That's why we should try and try and try to do God's Will. We should inspire and help others do God's Will. Even to the devils who temp us, instead of driving them away, TALK TO THE DEVILS!!! TELL THE DEVIL, YOU DEVILS HAVE SUFFERED A LOT!!! WITHOUT US HUMAN BEINGS, YOU WILL BE DESTROYED IN THE FIRES OF HELL!!!!.. BUT WITH THE HELP OF US HUMAN BEINGS, YOU JUST MIGHT BE SPARED THE DESTRUCTION PREPARED FOR YOU. STOP TEMPTING PEOPLE TO DISOBEY GOD!!!! INSTEAD HELP PEOPLE OBEY GOD!!!!! TELL THESE TO YOUR OTHER DEVILS!!!!! STOP TEMPTING PEOPLE TO DISOBEY GOD. TELL THEM TO HELP PEOPLE OBEY GOD!!!! WHO KNOWS, JUST AS IN THE BOOK OF JONAH, GOD JUST MIGHT NOT UNLEASH THE DESTRUCTION PROPHECIED FOR YOU - IF YOU REPENT AND GO THE ROUTE OF GO SIN NO MORE!!!!

REMEMBER ALL YOU DEVILS, TO YOU AND TO THE ANGELS, I DON'T THINK GOD EVER PROMISED YOU WHAT HE PROMISED TO US HUMAN BEINGS. TO US HUMAN BEINGS, SO LONG AS WE MEET OTHER CONDITIONS, JESUS SAID TO US IN THE GOSPELS: ASK ASK ASK ASK ASK ASK ASK, WHATEVER YOU ASK THE FATHER IN MY NAME SHALL BE GRANTED!!! BUT NOT MY WILL, NOT OUR WILL, BUT THY WILL OH FATHER BE DONE, IN JESUS' NAME WE PRAY.

Eurasian,

It sounds as though you are advocating evangelizing fallen angels. While the desire to help bring all creation to serve God is noble, it is simply impossible for demons to repent.
CCC 393-"It is the irrevocable character of their choice, and not a defect in the infinite divine mercy, that makes the angels' sin unforgivable. 'There is no repentance for the angels after their fall, just as their is no repentance for men after death.'"

God predicted their death before both Adam and Eve died. He warned them not to eat the fruit but they did it anyway and "surely they died".

Well, I am hardly an expert on Catholic teaching, as some of you know, but it seems to me that unless the Bible specifically states that someone didn't die (i.e. Enoch and Elijah), it can be quite safely believed that they did.

I've just GOTTA ask - is there someone out there who's claiming that Eve did NOT die?

Please, poonis, tell us what prompted you to ask this question!
