Exclamation Mystic Marriage of St. Catherine Artwork

Hello,
I am not sure if this is where this post belongs. I have fallen in love with a piece of art I saw displaying the mystical marriage of St. Catherine to Jesus. There are many variations of this work, and sometimes St. Rose of Lima is the subject. In the black and white picture, Jesus is wearing a crown of thorns and a white robe, and I think he is putting a ring on St. Catherine's finger. Catherine is wearing a habit. Does anybody have this picture or know where I could find it???? Thanks!!

The mystical marriage of St. Catherine of Siena by Giovanni di Paolo?

http://www.aug.edu/augusta/iconograp...aMarriage.html

Sorry if this is not what you are looking for.

You could also search Google Images or perhaps a CAF member will answer your questions better than me.

God bless,

The other closest one is by Pierre Subleyras. But it doesn't have the crown of thorns.

Thank you so much everybody for your replies! I appreciate the beautiful art that has been posted. Unfortunately, none of the pictures matches the original picture I saw. It could be that I'm mistaken in it being 'the mystic marriage of Saint Catherine to Jesus.' also, I am fairly sure I saw the picture as a forum members profile picture.

Thanks for your prayer to St. Anthony! What a wonderful idea.

emmaberry Thank you very much for taking the time in providing both links. Yes, I have seen the Desert Nuns website before when another CAF member recommended donating to their cause "Nun Run"...Now, I'm not too sure if that was the exact link they provided.

http://desertnunrun.blogspot.com/

I have also provided the Desert Nuns link to another Prayer thread I started "Please pray for Fallen Away Religious"

http://forums.catholic.com/showthrea...347012&page=24

Yes, I actually received the booklet for that exact same letter...You may also read it here if you like:

"An open letter to a Young woman on the Threshold of the Cloister"

Are you discerning a vocation to Religious life? Poor Clares?

God bless,

goforgoal

I am discerning more with the Carthusians and Carnelites, but I love the Poor Clare Sisters! You? Thanks for the links.
