Question Do you know of any Cancer Research Charities compatible with our Catholic Belief?

Do you know of any Cancer Research Charities that are in line with our Catholic Beliefs?

Such as no funding/advocating Embryonic Stem Cell Research.

Thanks, I would love to know if there are any.

I was also hoping someone could suggest some pro-life cancer research organizations.

Other threads have listed organizations for breast cancer research, including the Breast Cancer Prevention Institute, but I was hope to find something more general. Thanks!!

I don't know, but I know who to ask, if you don't get an answer here: Judie Brown of American Life League.
If she doesn't have the information at her fingertips, she'll know where to refer you...She is the prolife expert at EWTN's Catholic Questions & Answers, & she knows her stuff!!

The Komen foundation has also donated money to planned parenthood, the provider of more aboritons per year in America than any other pro-abortion group.

There are breast cancer research and help organizations that are also pro life!

To do good, first do no evil. We need to support the prolife cancer research organizations. I feel badly for prolife women, suffering from cancer who think they have no alternative than to benefit or support a medical charity or research that is not prolife. Members here are just trying to inform the public so that people like you and your mother have the information and alternatives.

Rather then giving your money to the Susan G. Komen Foundation who supports Abortion by giving some of the funds to Planned Parenthood, you are better off doing this....

If you would like to donate funds to BOTH Research Breast Cancer & Protect Lives in the Womb, here are a few options...

1. Polycarp Research Institute (
www.polycarp.org)

2. Breast Cancer Prevention Institute (http://www.bc...tute.org).

3. AbortionBreastCancer.com http://www.Ab...ncer.com or by mailing us at P.O. Box 152, Palos Heights, IL 60463

My youngest sister is a cancer survivor so this is a big deal to my family
