Default Request for prayers to preserve vision.

My Brothers and sisters in Christ,
I need your prayers.
In my family many go blind from glaucoma.
an inherited eye disease.
Today my ophthalmologist tells me the pressure in my own eyes has gone up considerably from that recorded at my last visit.
It is now at the upper range of normal
It frightens me to know that blindness is just around the corner.
We know that all events here on earth, apart from sin, are under the Control of Our Father.
Please pray to Him, that if it is according to His Will, I may have normal vision to the end of my days.
Thank you

Your ophthalmologist is keeping his eye on it and this is good that you go frequently enough to keep it checked. Go often so that it can be well cared for. This could be a reason why your relatives had as bad a time as they did. Discuss it with your doctor and make sure you get as many frequent, regular checkups as you need.

You will be in my prayers today.

Loving God,

We lift our prayers and intentions for our friend odhiambo, and we pray for her vision and health to be preserved, in accordance with your Holy and perfect will. Please bless odhiambo, dear Lord, as we trust in your divine providence.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments we might not despair,
nor become despondent,
but with great confidence submit ourselves
to Your holy will, which is love and mercy itself.

Amen

Lord, please heal odhiambo in accordance with your holy and perfect will, and grant him good vision until the end of his days, if this is your holy will for him. Please help him to be surrendered to your perfect will and abandoned to your divine providence. Grant him peace and strength and help him to carry his cross courageously, patiently, and lovingly. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayyer.

Our Father, which art in Heaven
Hollowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
On earth as it is in Heaven

Give us this day, our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us

Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace
The Lord is with thee
Blessed art thou amongst women
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus

Holy Mary, Mother of God
Pray for us sinners
Now and at the hour of our deaths
Amen

Glory be to The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be
World without end
Amen

Merciful Lord please lay your hands upon odhiambo's eyes and relieve the pressure.
Please grant odhiambo's urgent prayers in protection and preservation of sight.
Lord have mercy as our vision means so much to us in our lives.

Mother Mary at the wedding feast of Cana (John 2:1-12)
though JESUS protested it was not yet time for miracles
you successfully interceded with Him for a family's temporal need
please now intercede with your divine Son
for each person's temporal and spiritual needs.
Thank you Mother

JESUS please grant our prayer for this person

Lord have mercy on odhiambo. Let her have normal eyesight for the rest of her days.

Our Father who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done,
On Earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread
And forgive us our debts
As we forgive our debtors
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
Amen.

Hail holy Queen, mother of mercy,
our life, our sweetness, and our hope.
To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve.
To thee do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious Advocate,
thine eyes of mercy toward us.
And after this our exile,
show unto us the blessed Fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
Amen.

In the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Thank you DihydrogenOxide.
I will be doing as per your advice but I understand that there is little that can be done. All he does so far is take the pressures and every time, for the last three or so visits, they are higher that previously in both eyes. It is like an unstoppable march until the optic nerve is destroyed resulting in blindness.
