Re: Meet and Greet #83
Hello everyone!
I just joined a couple of days ago!
I have many many questions all the time, so I finally decided to join!
Since I am not very tech savvy to begin with, I am finding it a little difficult to navigate around here and work things out. But I'll get there!
I live in Australia and have just started to get involved with Pro-Life talks, walks, vigils, etc and I'm glad I finally made the decision and effort to help with this issue.
I have just started a business with my brother and best-friend designing and printing Catholic t-shirts. Evangelizing can be done in many ways, and we use shirts to evangelize through word and art. It is only in the baby stages so alot of work still needs to be done. But everything must start somewhere
Glad to be a part of this website. In a world where the media makes us feel like we are a minority, its good to see that we are growing and we are strong!
God bless you all

Re: Meet and Greet #83
 Hi!
I am a cradle Catholic who has been a conscientious Christian since the tender age of three years old. I desired the sacraments and received them with full enthusiasm, participation, and knowledge of what I was doing. I went to both the private catholic schools and the public schools in my pursuit of an education.
I have an analytical mind. I have learned apologetics from trial and error: a little guidance from my dad, and from my educators, nuns, and priests and non-christians and protestants. I consider myself to be an amateur and very open to listening and creative and critical thinking. I am very opinionated and unapologetic for this trate. I consider it very democratic and enjoy a kind of Socratic discussion on topics.
I am currently a GRD student majoring in PHL and Bioethics. I am a nontraditional student, a conservative feminist for life, and possibly thorn in your side. Don't be intimidated and join me in what I consider a worthwhile learning experience.
That's alot for now. Thanks for staying with me and reading this post!

Re: Meet and Greet #83
Greetings,
I'm Catholic, just not sure what type. Growing up, there was only one name and one type: Roman Catholic. Perhaps, that's exactly what I've become, a Roaming Catholic
I spent the last three years researching & writing for my book The St. Croix Ark
Although, I am not here to promote the book, I joined this forum to ask questions and to seek an understanding about my abandoned dogmas of my youth.
Peace,
JP

Re: Meet and Greet #83
Blessings, I am a catholic living in Michigan. I have 13 grandchildren with # 14 on the way, 4 children and a husband of 30 years. I have learnt more about the catholic faith through my children's catechism than I did growing up catholic. There is still so much to learn... Look forward to your site.

Re: Meet and Greet #83
Good Morning, I am not a Catholic but have been studying church history in the last year and have questions that I believe this forum can answer. This will be great. I'm currently reading "how can I get to heaven" by Sungenis and Martin Luther's "the bondage of the will" at the same time. I've read the westminster catechism and am getting ready to start on the Catholic catechism. Any reading suggestions will be welcome.
Bless you all,
Trains

Re: Meet and Greet #83
Hi CAF! I am a highschool religion teacher in a school with influential teachers who are secular humanists, non-Orthodox Catholics, anti-Catholics and nominal Catholics. I was also exposed to non-Catholic Orthodox teachings in a school environment where dissent to the Magisterium is the most important learning. I can't say this enough - I am truly grateful that you exist CAF! You correct, inspire, embolden and equip me for my own growth in faith and in my mission as a teacher to my students and as a co-worker.
God bless your ministry!

Re: Meet and Greet #83
hello, live in Virginia, married, he is not catholic but we are raising our children catholic so he is involved. I am blessed to be a part of wonderful Parrish and we are very involved with activities in the church. I love learning more about our faith, I was away from the church for a long time and it has been a wonderful journey to return with my family over the past 7 years.

Re: Meet and Greet #83
Hi, sorry for the negative username "frustratedwife"; however, this is my reason for searching for answers on the internet.
Love what I've read so far.
