Prayer request posting issue

I have noticed a new issue, well and old issue that has grown worse over the past months, in the Prayer request forum. I always search for threads, new and those with recent posts, by using the unread post feature, or new post feature. Lately, the vast majority of all posts are the single forum of prayer request. I looked at the time stamp and content of these and found that most were a cut and paste of the same thing, every 2 - 4 minutes, sometimes pasted hundreds of times, even multiple times in the same thread. In any other context, this would be called spamming. I was just wondering if it might be prudent to set some guidelines on this type of activity, say one identical post per thread, or increase the time between posts to 1-2 minutes. I do not know how many others get gummed up by this, but I had a prayer request this week and declined to post it at CAF because of this particular problem. I also suspect that some of the motivation of this is to increase post count at CAF in order to rise in the rankings. I do not know it this is right.
