I went to Mass today at the Dominican priory. The guys were all dressed up with their black cappas. The deacon also had on a lovely dalmatic, matching the celebrant's chasuble. Not the usual daily Mass garb. It was nice! Unlike every other Latin Church around here where it's usually standing room only on this not-a-holyday-of-oblitgation, it was just the usual crowd at the Priory. I didn't go up for ashes.

We did burn our palms last night in RCIA for ashes at that parish today.
