my brother-in-law, accident, paralysed
I just received a call that my brother-in-law Tony spun off the road in heavy rain, hit a tree, and is paralyzed from the waist down.
My family and I ask your prayers for Tony, for Bernice and their family.
Thank you for your prayers

Re: my brother-in-law, accident, paralysed
Remember, O most loving Virgin Mary,
that never was it known,
that anyone who fled to your protection,
implored your help, or sought your intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence,
though burdened by my sins,
I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother.
To you I come, before you I stand,
sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions, but in your mercy,
hear and answer me.
Amen.

Re: my brother-in-law, accident, paralysed
Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Re: my brother-in-law, accident, paralysed
Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Prayer for the Sick through the Intercession of St. Lorenzo Ruiz and Companions
Beloved San Lorenzo Ruiz and martyr companions, to you do we come for help. Help us to have the same faith and love that you had for God. We call upon you today on behalf of our ailing beloved ones. By your prayers and intercession obtain for them, not only comfort and peace for their souls, but also vigor and strength for their bodies. We place our entire confidence in you because we know that God loves you and that you care for us. We earnestly pray that our sick ones, be purified and revitalized in every cell, tissue, nerve and organ, so that the bodily limbs may function effectively again. Through your powerful intercession help our sick to receive the grace of God's miraculous compassion, so that they will be completely whole again, and thereby be able to continue serving God faithfully in this life to the best of their strength and to attain the salvation to which you arrived. Amen.

Re: my brother-in-law, accident, paralysed
Lord Jesus, You have said, "Learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart." With confidence in Your loving heart which offers rest to weary souls, we come to You in this time of special need. In Your unfailing love, read the prayer that is written on our hearts, and grant the grace that we ask of You, in accordance with Your holy will. In Your name we pray. Amen.
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, and sought thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother, to thee I come, before thee I stand sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate! Despise not my petitions, but, in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.

Re: my brother-in-law, accident, paralysed
Lord, please heal Tony in accordance with your holy and perfect will. Please grant him strength, peace, courage, deep faith, surrender to your holy will and abandonment to your divine providence. Please comfort him, his wife Bernice and the rest of his family, and help them to carry their crosses heroically. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer.

Re: my brother-in-law, accident, paralysed
My heart goes out to you and your family.
Praying for Tony, Bernice and your family.
Lord, we love you and praise your name.
We know know you are the divine physician
and there are no obstacles
too large for you to overcome.
Please, Lord, please touch Tony with your healing.
Fill his body with your healing and restoration.
Breathe health and vitality into every part of his body and mind.
Restoring him and bringing him comfort of body and peace of mind
As he recovers.
Please ease the minds and worry of his Bernice and his loved ones
And surround them all with your angels.
I thank you in advance for answering my prayers.
I love you, I praise you, I thank you for all.
Amen.
May we be assisted, we beseech Thee, O Lord,
by the worshipful intercession of Thy glorious Mother,
the ever-Virgin Mary; that we,
who have been enriched by her perpetual blessings,
may be delivered from all dangers,
and through her loving kindness made to be of one heart and mind:
Who livest and reignest world without end.
Amen.
Watch, O Lord, with those who wake, or watch, or weep tonight,
and give Your angels and saints charge over those who sleep.
Tend Your sick ones, O Lord Christ.
Rest Your weary ones.
Bless Your dying ones.
Soothe Your suffering ones.
Pity Your afflicted ones.
Shield Your joyous ones, and all for Your love's sake.
Amen.
In the name of the Father,
and of the Son,
and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.

Re: my brother-in-law, accident, paralysed
Holy Saint Joan, compassionate to the sick and wounded,
who, while on earth, nursed so many back to health, hear me.
You who wished to see no one injured or in discomfort,
pray for Tony and guide him through this difficult time.
Daughter of God, wounded many times in battle,
I petition you for healing of body, mind, soul, and spirit,
so that he may be better able to serve God in whatever capacity He wishes.
Intercede for him please.
Help him to remain strong and be healed physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Amen.
Lord Jesus, Who went about doing good and healing all,
we ask You to bless Your friends who are sick.
Give them the strength in body,
courage in spirit, and patience in pain.
Let them recover their health, so that,
restored to the Christian community,
they may joyfully praise Your Name,
for You live and reign forever and ever.
Amen.
O Blessed Archangel Gabriel, we beseech thee,
do thou intercede for us at the throne of divine Mercy
in our present necessities, that as thou didst announce to Mary
the mystery of the Incarnation, so through thy prayers
and patronage in heaven we may obtain the benefits of the same,
and sing the praise of God forever in the land of the living.
Amen.
In the name of the Father,
And of the Son,
And of the Holy Spirit,
Amen.

Re: my brother-in-law, accident, paralysed
odhiambo, chococat, the phoenix, pollylodges, prbarrera, 77stanthony77, Kilo1Mike21, 244Rocket, ready, Bix, Ryan Owens,
My family is grateful for your prayers. God bless you.
Tony had surgery late last night. We are grateful that he can move both arms.
He is being moved to a specialized spinal hospital.
We do see the blessings, Lord, that Tony hasn't lost use of his arms and upper body, that he has specialist medical care, that his house is single storey, that his wife has worked for years as a nursing sister in retirement homes, that one of his sons lives next door to them.
For these things, for our faith to pray, for the unity of our very large family who rally around each other in our good times and in our sad times, we praise and bless You Lord.
We do ask You to give strength and all the graces of this unfamiliar new beginning to this man whom we all love so much, our Tony with his red-gold hair and mischievous grin, loved father of seven. We place him and his shocked wife and family into Your immense love.
May the fullness of Your divine and loving will be fulfilled in Tony's life and in the lives of each of our family.
