Re: Meet and Greet #86
Hello and God Bless everyone. I went through RCIS 6 years ago maybe 7 my memory is not what it used to be. I am so grateful for having joined the Catholic Church. It has become a very important part of my life. I am 60 years old and I also am disabled with multiple chronic conditions. I spend most of my time in a power wheel chair. I also have a ramp on my house and a lift on my vehicle so I can get around some. One of my Brothers from our local Knights of Columbus chapter brings me communion every week and I am very grateful for that.

Nice to see how far C.A. has grown!
Thanks for all you do!

Re: Meet and Greet #86
Hello to all. I've known about Catholic Answers for about 1 year, have been listening to Catholic Answers Live very enthusiastically, and finally registered for the forums.
I was the stereotypic "bad Catholic" for a long, long time. Didn't know much, didn't care about not knowing, and basically was a Catholic-in-name-only. I was consistently bombarded with criticisms from my protestant friends, and had no ability to respond. Four years ago, coinciding with my older kids beginning their studies at a Catholic high school, I began feeling very strongly that I should either get this figured out, and start knowing and living my faith, or get out. I couldn't live the hipocricy any more. Well the short story.....I met and connected with our new parish Priest, who has been very encouraging and helpful, started a dedicated effort to learn what I should have already known, and it has been fantastic. I can't get enough. I just wish I would have done this 25 years ago! I'm excited about getting involved with these forums. Thank you God!

Re: Meet and Greet #86
Thank you CAF!
I returned to the Church a year and a half ago after being away for a long time. I try to be a devout Catholic, and suffer from OCD/Scrupulosity. I hope this forum will help me with my many questions and I am looking forward to joining the OCD/Scrupulosity thread.
God Bless you for your work,
