Agents, of all types, operate in smaller contingents. Apparently the malefactors were from the same contingent so they sent that contingent home and replaced the entire contingent with another.

so our president, the leader of one of the great nations in the world, is at an important summit in Colombia, attended by many leaders from the Americas and the scandal over the secret service agents is probably making more news than the summit itself. disgraceful for our nation and disgraceful that this administration hasn't set rules down for appropriate behavior for secret service details on and off duty. i bet this advance team when they got the word Obama was headed to Colombia couldn't wait to get over there.
i hope they did their job well in advance work whatever that entailed. looks like they made sure there was time to party.

Obama calls for 'rigorous' probe into Secret Service prostitution allegations
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
http://www.cnn.com/2012/04/15/world/...html?hpt=hp_t1
"Secret Service allegations investigated
U.S. Secret Service agents sent home from Colombia
"I expect that investigation to be thorough and I expect it to be rigorous. If it turns out that some of the allegations that have been made in the press are confirmed, then of course I'll be angry," he said."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Well, yes.

Hard to believe it's NOT true since
twelve (12) agents were forced to
leave the country in the blink of an eye.

Funny experience with dark glasses.
When I do not wear dark glasses, ladies look at me and lower their eyes.
When I use dark glasses they just stare at me full time.
Why?
I guess that it is because they do not see my eyes, they do not see I am looking to them.
So, if they THINK I am not looking at them I AM NOT looking at them.
But ... I am a normal man .... !

Maybe that explains the moral danger of using dark glasses ....

Well, us, Christians, may have another viewpoint.
As the non-believers cry "Shame", maybe we should look up to the Lord saying : "The first to be without sin should throw the first stone!".

Attention: This does not mean they should not be punished! Just means, not stoning them !!!

Actually, that's a good point. How did it not get swept under the carpet so far? And so much attention so far, by his adoring l------ media? What's the trick? Are we supposed to feel afraid that our president is in danger because of an inept security? Will this be an excuse if something happens?

Given the Obama pay scale for women the US would save a lot of money too.

At least one United States Secret Service agent is alleged to have sought the services of a prostitute in Cartagena, Colombia, where President Obama is visiting for the Summit of the Americas. CBS News has learned that one of the agents allegedly involved with the prostitute is a supervisor of the Counter Terror Assault Team (CAT).

An official with the Secret Service disputes that the agent tied to the situation is a supervisor or a member of CAT, which is responsible for advance planning and response and is not part of the president's protective detail. ... ."

Just curious - does anyone think the Secret Service taking a bullet for an administrative official?

Is it just me that finds it ironic that this administration would not tolerate this sort of immoral behavior but at the same time is trying to force us to fund birth control, abortifacients and sterilization? Of course, I'd guess that the sad reality is that the administration's actions were not rooted in moral repugnance, but their response is just a calculated political response...

Maybe if the administration actually valued life and human dignity they would have agents that recognized immoral and inappropriate behavior...

You reap what you sow... Set a standard that human life is not dignified and deserving of protection and it opens the door to scandal and disgrace...

Those agents *should* know better. But, when leadership lacks a moral compass, the followers get lost too...

Do you really think the Secret Service doesn't have a code of conduct for its agents? I suggest a simple google search.
