Loving God,

We lift our continuing prayers and intentions for the healing and welfare of your son Jim. Lord, we thank you for the improvement in the health situation for our friend Jim. Please bless him and his family as they continue their journey of faith and serve you, O Lord. Thank you also for the good works Jim does with others facing the huge trial and challenge of cancer in their lives. Lord, we especially appreciate the prayerful example that Jim sets for us, and for his outreach to others who are suffering.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your people.

Amen.

Loving God thank You for the witness of courage and faith that Jim has shown us in the last few years.
Please continue to bless other through him.

Jim, before my Dad become ill, I wrote this for him and he kept it framed on his desk.
I addressed it, "Dearest Dad"
the remainder came to mind as appropriate to you
"...the last stretch of Jesus' life was so painful and difficult.
He was stripped of so much.
When you meet Jesus you will see God has made you more like Jesus than you can imagine.
Those final touches are the most difficult.
I pray for you every day as God puts the last touches to His gracious masterpiece."

For however long it takes, Jim

Mother Mary at the wedding feast of Cana (John 2:1-12)
though JESUS protested it was not yet time for miracles
you successfully interceded with Him for a family's temporal need
please now intercede with your divine Son
for each person's temporal and spiritual needs.
Thank you Mother

JESUS please grant our prayer for this person

O Lord, listen to our prayer
And let our cry for help reach you.
Do not hide your face from us
in the day of our distress.
Turn your ear towards us Lord and answer us!
Amen!

Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning,
is now,
and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Remember, O most loving Virgin Mary,
that never was it known,
that anyone who fled to your protection,
implored your help, or sought your intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence,
though burdened by my sins,
I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother.
To you I come, before you I stand,
sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions, but in your mercy,
hear and answer me.
Amen.
