Re: Great jealousy against this dude
My suggestion is to just ignore that person whenever he (if he does) gloats about his grades do not listen. You do your best and that is all that matters. Remember you are a child of God and at judgement day no man and I mean NO man will be seen as better than the other in the eyes of the Lord rich or poor, smart or dumb (not saying you are dumb), etc.. I have heard of this Jesuit practice of putting AMDG at the top of school papers. AMDG stands for Ad Majorem Dei Gloria, which means "for the greater glory of God". Basically a way of offering your daily works to God and to remind you that even the small things we do contribute to the greater glory of the most high. I too struggle with this some time, again I just ignore them and try to feel happy for them.
Also you could try to use this as motivation to work harder or try to be better.

Oh and ay the Lord be with you as you go throughout your daily tasks. May He bless the work of your hands and may you be remember that the Lord expects only of his servant what he gives him. Whether God has given your 10, 5, or merely 1 talent remember that the Lord only asks of you what you are giving do the best you can even if you are only bestowed with 1 talent. I will keep you in my prayers friend. Peace and Blessings be upon you!

Re: Great jealousy against this dude
I think maybe the problem is that you're unsatisfied with yourself. There's nothing wrong with you. Jesus loves you, and he died (and rose again) so that you could join him in a paradise the glory of which we can't begin to fathom. He loves this other guy, too, of course.
Think ahead to the day in the future when, perhaps, the two of you can embrace in Heaven, free from any perceived need to compete. Perhaps you can tell him, "I was so jealous of you in that other life, and it drove me straight into the arms of Our Lord."

I wasn't talking about what God does or does not do. But to your point, yeah. We're all fallen (useless metal), but with Christ and the truth he provides we can be redeemed (gold).
