Default Patrick, incomplete info given on 4/20 show

Near the end of this show, a woman called in. She is discerning religious life, and was disturbed to find that the community she aspires to join is not strongly against the HHS mandate. She also found out that this community belongs to the Leadership Council of Women Religious (LCWR), which is in the news lately. She asked how to find out information about communities. Patrick's answer was to name a few communities that he knew (good as far as it went). Fr West mentioned one community.

Patrick, please put this piece of info in your storehouse of information. There is another association of superiors of women religious in the U.S. The Council of Major Superiors of Women Religious was approved by the Holy See as an alternate organization to the LCWR. CMSWR is completely loyal to the Magesterium of the Church, is in agreement with the USCCB, and member communities wear the habit. If a woman is searching for a traditional community in communion with Peter and his bishops, look to the CMSWR first. The communities that Patrick mentioned are all in the CMSWR.

It is just my private observation, but I think the CMSWR orders have a lower average age and better hopes for a future. It appears to me that many of the LCWR orders are aging and diminishing in numbers.
