I do love that adage, but don't think it applies in this case.
I've never seen a president so willing to accept sole credit for any success, and so quick to blame others for any failures (namely, Boosh), Republicans, climate change, the Japan, Haiti earthquakes, climate change, etc, etc, etc....

I think the mission was text book. The birds coming in without detection was just what they plan on. Sometimes everything goes our way. Sometimes it doesn't. Thats where the gutsy call comes in. What ever you think Of Obama as a president. He did his job right this time.

Exactly. Also, Obama made a call that saved the mission -- sending in two helicopters. It turned out to be crucial. And there were tons of advisers recommending not to do the mission. Let's not forget that the previous administration took their eye off the hunt for Bin Laden when they went on their insane rampage concerning Iraq, WMDs, etc

The names of these advisors are probably classified. I'm surprised that anyone would think that taking out Bin Laden was wrong.

It's weird that to be constantly asked for the basic facts of a major story. I didn't make this up, if that is what you are implying. Off the cuff, as I recall only Leon Panetta was urging Obama to do the mission, the rest were lukewarm to very cautious. Sorry, you will have to go find out the rest on your own
