Wedding rings
Are silver rings okay for marriage?
Have you all got gold rings or has anybody got silver ones?

Re: Wedding rings
Rings are not necessary at all. Silver, gold, platinum, all are acceptable.

That's between you, the wife-to-be, and the wallet. I think silver / white gold rings look nice.

Re: Wedding rings
Ours are white gold and we are very happy with them, we went with what we could afford. Just do your best and choose a ring that fits you and your fiances personality. I've even seen wooden rings that were quite beautiful.

Re: Wedding rings
I know others who have gone with silver or platinum.
Go with something that's mutually appealing, rather than dictated by tradition.

Re: Wedding rings
Wedding rings are entirely a cultural requirement, not a Church requirement. In some cultures, Catholic weddings are celebrated with the blessings of necklaces.
