Uh, no, no... I really, and I mean REALLY, have to disagree with you there. I believe Saudi Arabia is a MUCH better candidate. If you read Rev 18:11-13, you'll see every item listed there is an item presently imported into Saudi Arabia, including slaves. Although slavery was officially forbidden in 1963, there's still a problem with employers who will hire workers from other countries (such as India or the Philippines) and then confiscating their passports so the workers can't leave. As a major supplier of oil to the world, all the kings of the earth have drunk of her wine. As the location of Mecca and Medina, the hearts of Islam, it also has a better claim on being "drunk on the blood of the holy ones and on the blood of the witnesses to Jesus."
Actually it is Israel, Rev 17, which the scripture also connects to the Parable of the Tenants in Matthew 21: 33 which I forgot to add earlier. It basically says the same thing. The servents(prophets and messengers) that the landowner sent to the tenants where killed, beaten, stoned exe... Then he said I will send my Son(Jesus) -38 When the tenants saw the Son, they said to one another, 'This is the heir. Come let us kill him and acquire his inheritance'. They seized him threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him. Jesus came and ended up getting crucified in the place called Golgotha or as Rev 11: 18 called it between "Sodom" and "Egypt" "where indeed there Lord was crucified".

Ezekiel 40 - 44 is the Temple that is to be built in the Eternal Kingdom. The temple that that the AC has to stand in is a 3rd rebuild of the Temple.

Ezekiel 38 and 39 refer to the battle after the 1000 year rain in detail. Rev 20: 7 " when the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison. He will go out to deceive the nations at the four corners of the earth, God and Magog, to gather them for battle. Ezekiel 38: The word of the LORD came to me: 2 "Son of man, set your face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him 3 and say, Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. 4 And I will turn you about and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed in full armor, a great host, all of them with buckler and shield, wielding swords. 5 Persia, Cush, and Put are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; 6 Gomer and all his hordes; Beth-togarmah from the uttermost parts of the north with all his hordes— many peoples are with you.

Translated: God will use Satan to gather the worlds army for a finally to show the power of the Lord.

Ezekiel 37 Vision of dry bones is the resurection of the rightous dead. Ezeikiel 37 The two sticks are the unification of Israel after the AC is destroyed. God will make a covenant of peace, the eternal covenant, and God will set up his sanctuary among them forever.

The bible is 25-30% prophecy. Many prophecies of His comng are now fulfilled. When the apostles asked Jesus what aren the signs of the end of the age Jesus gave them the answer. He gave specifics which are now being fulfilled. He didn't say there weren't any or don't worry about it. It will better prepare you for the comng tribulaton.

This will be the final year for the "Cornerstone Festival" in Bushnell Illinois, so yes, the end is near!

The antichrist will be from the tribe of Dan or will be an Edomite. The early church aways believed the antichrist will come from the tribe of Dan. There's a well known Catholic prophecy expert with the last name Dupont. You might want to see what he wrote.

Well, not near.

Closer, certainly.

I think that someplace St Paul says that the end is nearer than when we first believed.

To go back to the end of times, consider this passage from the gospel of St. John:

Behold, the hour is coming and has arrived when each of you will be scattered to his own home and you will leave me alone. But I am not alone, because the Father is with me. I have told you this so that you might have peace in me.
—John 16:32–33

Seems to me that this passage is still relevant today.

So I firmly expect it will come when its least expected.
You need to take a study course. The day and the hour have to do with the groom's father-in this case God the Father of Jesus approving the marriage abode for the bride which is the church. Be careful because Peter said in the last days there will be scoffers.

Oh yes we are near.

The purpose of prophecy is to show the Lord is God. Even if people only accept Jesus because of fear (imperfect attrition) they will love Jesus once they get to know him. All the prophecies have been fulfilled for the appearance of Christ. This includes our Progressive Catholics they are traitors to Christ. Pope John Paul II said good works are ony counted when the gospel is included. Social justice without the gospel is Communism.

Great post and worth committing to memory. Thank you!

Oh, and I will add that I feel it is very near, too. Or at the very least, the great tribulation is about upon us. Especially when you look at the letter from the USCCB encouraging civil unrest per the HHS mandate. I have been sensing persecution quite strong especially with the onset of gay "marriage" and "tolerance" and this health care.

The poster who said that Christ Jesus will return when we least expect him is right. Our Lord gave us the parable of the ten bridesmaids (Matthew 25: 1-12) to warn us to always be ready because we just don't know. And when you look at society today, the conditions in the world and the situation in Israel, Jesus could very well return in our lifetime.
