Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.

Amen

I know what you mean regarding music. Prayer has helped me quite a lot to overcome those kind of distracting remnants of the past. The Divine Praises may be of help to you. God bless you!

Watch, O Lord, with those who wake, or watch, or weep tonight, and give Your angels charge over those who sleep. Tend Your sick ones, O Lord Christ. Rest Your weary ones. Bless Your dying ones. Soothe Your suffering ones. Pity Your afflicted ones. Shield Your joyous ones. And for all Your love's sake. Amen.

I turn to you, dear virgin and martyr, confident of your power with God and of your willingness to take my cause into your hands. I praise and bless the Lord for giving you to us as patron of the nervous and emotionally disturbed. I firmly hope that through your kind intercession He will restore Jacinto's lost serenity and peace of mind. May He speak to his heart and reassure him: "My peace I give you. Let not your heart be troubled nor let it be afraid." Pray for him, dear St. Dymphna, that his nervous and emotional turmoil may cease, and that he may again know serenity and personal peace. Amen.

May you fill your mind, heart and soul with good things like prayer, spriritual reading and sacred music. May our Lord heal you of your memories and help you to live a very faithful life. May our Lady help you to pray zealously and often. Through the intercession of Mother Mary, may our Lord heal your back in accordance with his holy will. Amen.

Trials like that cyst are a gift from God. He allows us to suffer in order to help purify us and get us ready for heaven.

A young man was once sent to a goldsmith to learn about processing gold ore into gold. He watched as the goldsmith put the ore into a crucible and turned the heat way, way up. The gold melted out of the ore and was collected in another crucible with other melted gold. The heat was maintained very, very high! Eventually, some of the impurities were burned off, while some floated to the top and were skimmed off and discarded. The young man observantly asked the old goldsmith how he knew when the gold was finished being purified? The old man looked at him and explained that when he could look into the molten gold and clearly see his own reflection, it was ready.

God, in His infinite mercy and love, does the same to us. He puts us in the crucible to burn off the impurities within us. When He can clearly see His own reflection in us, then we're "ready."

May God reward your faith in Him and see you through your trials to better days, and may He use this period of suffering to draw you closer to Him. May your relationship with our Lord be intimate and a source of life-long joy to you. May He bless you over and over throughout your life and give you the strength you need to realize your potential in Him.

For your prayer intention:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
