She has never applied for Swiss citizenship. In the interview I saw last night on TV, she said when she married her husband who is a Swiss citizen, she was automatically granted the Swiss citizenship. It came with the marriage. She has five children and twenty three foster children. When she speaks, she is always poised and very charitable. Her Christian faith is conveyed through her speech.

I'm sorry, but if you can't hide your money from the IRS, you're either lazy or unimaginative. [And no that does not mean I hide my money; one has to have some IOT hide it].

Not so. Italian citizenship is one of the easier ones to get if you have the right Italian ancestry.
Also, Americans can hold dual and even triple citizenship. Many countries like ours have no objections to multiple citizenships for their citizens.
