Default Help to change my time on the internet.

Well it seems i go from one problem to the next, and it becomes frustrating and at times depressing.

I am working on being more social, i have returned to college and the full week starts this Monday 5/14, so i should be busy which will help with my current problem.

and that is the internet !

I spend way to much time on the internet, mainly to socialize and that leads me to getting into drama and wasting time that needs to be focused else where.

If I could make everything right, I would only be using the internet as a tool to get productive work done based on helping others.

And I am pointed in that direction,

In the mean time, a few extra prayers my way to help me focus on college, building social skills, and learning how to be a good leader would be appreciated.

I have mentioned on a few threads that i am in a discernment process...

n I should be talking to my Spiritual Director this upcoming week for the first time n look forward to it...

I just hope that if I am called to a vocation, that I will be very productive, and busy, and that i wont have down time that will have me hours on end on the internet.

I remember my time in the army and there was rarely a day when i had enough time to be online, i wasnt always doing the right thing with my time, but at least i was in the real world.

The Internet can be a double edged sword, I just hope one day it stops being that for me and becomes a solid and strong tool i use to help others in a vocation that i am called to be in.

Lord, please grant John wisdom and discernment. May he use the internet to evengelize and to help others and not waste ny time. May he seek first your kingdom and your righteousness and have all things added unto him. May he use his time for prayer, adoration, spiritual reading, and for performing good works. Amen.
