No...I read them....but bottom line...the instructor stopped an unruly student from making disparaging remarks in his classroom that had nothing to do with the class topic at hand....and it appears the student refused to cooperate....and BECAUSE his comments were "anti-gay" they sould be allowed to stand without question as his "right to free speech"...if they were concerning some other topic..such as race or such....the outcry here would not be as volitile.....just my from the "peanut gallery".

The school board (that has all the details) disagrees with your personal "bottom line".

If the teacher wears a pro "gay" shirt that is fine. What if he wore a pro nazi shirt, still ok?

I wonder if the Teacher is Gay and wants to push his view on others so that he can feel comfortable about being socially acceptable.

But in any case, to prevent things like this from happening,
we need more Catholic Schools.

Yes, that is the point. The teacher thinks he can push his agenda on students who have no way to get away from the class, yet if a student disagrees then he is the problem.

What did the "pro-gay" shirt entail?

It very well may....it is a very political topic...I'm sure they are handling it very carefully....especially when 'religion" and "politics" are involved....like the bumper sticker read..."Last time religion and politics were mixed...people got burned"...I'm sure they are trying to avoid such a circumstance....keep a teacher employed...satisfy the parents and the board.....produce some type of peaceful outcome.

If a teacher isn't teaching the required subject why keep him employed?

Indeed. If a teacher is pushing his pet ideologies on a captive audience how is that reasonable?

He was disrupted by an unruly student while teaching in his class room....difficult to teach when being disrupted.....why keep the student to continue to disrupt?

Why is the student at fault? This would not happen if the teacher was not being provocative in the first place.

Well, the other poster said he had information. Did the student suddenly bring up the topic for no reason?

OK. The OP found one of the former, so you list a 100 of the latter.
