Default CAF Donations?

If I make a donation, do I get any benefits?
Like the ability to pick my avatar, and add a signature?
I know if I just wait, I can get it, but are there any incentives
that one can get for donating money here?

What you are talking is about purchasing benefits and not making a donation. I think that this is a problem that I see in some cultures, the need for a nominal return in order to justify a donation.

Catholic Prime, no, donating to CAF does not give a person additional CAF benefits. However, you do have the satisfaction of knowing that you have helped CAF to continue to operate and to improve.

If CAF is important to you, or if you value the online presence of Catholic Answers (website, radio podcasts, forums etc) then I think making a donation is a good idea. You are promoting an important apostolate and helping give voice to a perspective which is often not heard in today's secular culture.

You can already pick your own avatar and add a signature - see the tab top that says profile - GO AND PLAY WITH IT! lol

donating to CAF will just help this site keep running and without ad's

you can join a group under group memberships if you donate and claim the title as a Forum Supporter - PM for details if you do donate and want to join the group

No, he cannot. He is still a Trial Member, which means he does not have those privileges yet.

The good news is that he is likely to be granted those privileges in a couple weeks.

See this post for information regarding the different membership "ranks."

I have been looking for that link for the last couple of days.
I saw it somewhere and forgot where, thanks for bringing it back.

I was curious about paying for some privileges, not an actual object.
I've had some Atheists on here make claims that some of my posts were Jokes,
and they said shame on me, and I do not want them to mass report me and have my account suspended, it's happened more than once on Yahoo Answers, and I don't want to have it happen here. I value the information learned on here.

Is there a way to save favorite threads?
The only way I know how is to make a small comment
on a thread to have it recorded in all my posts.

Catholic Prime, yes, there is a way to save favorite threads without posting in the thread. Near the top of each thread is a drop down menu called "Thread Tools." Ono of the menu choices is to subscribe to the thread. This means a link to the thread will be included in an area of your profile called "Subscribed Threads."

Normally, when you post in a thread you automatically subscribe to the thread. However, using the "Thread Tools" menu is a way to subscribe without posting.

Please see the screen capture I have attached. I have circled where the Thread Tools menu is located.

It isn't Atheists that have been reporting you. It is Catholics. And it comes from the way you post and your attitude. Remember, be charitable.

No, Catholic Answers won't allow you to pay or make a donation so you can break the rules. It doesn't work that way.
