Please pray for the conversion of my hometown and for me to move near Catholic friends

Hi,

I live in a town called Brockton, and it is a wretched place right now. Drugs, violence, gangs, extreme racism, crime, thefts, etc. I realized that I cannot live here anymore and need to move to a Catholic parish in another town. Please pray for the conversion of this town, but also pray that I go to a parish in another town where I can live within walking distance of a Catholic Church, and friends within that parish. Wherever I go, I want to assist that parish in instituting Perpetual adoration, as the parish I go to, which is 10 minutes away has that. I can't stand this town, and the fact that I have no friends or family living here. I need to go somewhere else. This city is dangerous and filthy, and dripping with sin and evil. I don't know who would be good to pray to, but this place is just unhealthy to live in. I never feel safe here, or welcome.

Please pray and offer any suggestions for saints to ask the intercession of to help me move out to another town, preferably near friends and in the area of my university which is the next town over from me. None of the parishes in Brockton have any adoration at all, or any group rosaries, and I don't intend to try to get them started here. I just feel like this town is lost, and cannot be saved from within. Like Jesus said, "A prophet is not welcome in his own hometown." Pray Divine Mercy chaplets for the City of Brockton. This place needs all the help it can get from God.

I might end up going to Mass here once I move to another town, but I am not living here anymore. As soon as God gives me a good chance to go to a parish where I can be near a friendly parish with people I am very connected and comfortable with, like the ones in the towns nearby, where I go to Adoration and where I go to college, then I might visit the parishes back in Brockton, but this place is governed by corruption.

I will pray for you, Joshua. I don't think I lived in quite as neighborhood as bad as the one you described but I remember growing up, being wary of everybody who came to my door. I hope that things improve and that you're able to find a better, safer place to live.

I don't know of a patron saint for this situation but I think St. Joseph would be a good person to intercede on your behalf.
