Default Please pray for my son

He is 18 years old and is suffering from severe depression and suicidal thoughts compounded by substance abuse. He nearly killed himself and two passengers last night in an auto accident, but thank God suffered only minor injuries. His passenger was not so lucky and is in more critical condition.

I'm praying that he opens his eyes to the fact that he needs help, especially God's help, and that we can find and that he accepts some kind of treatment. Also he is in debt and may lose his job and home and he possibly will have legal trouble because of this.

Thank you and God Bless.

Lord God, I pray for magdelaine's son. Please lead him to the path of goodness and abundance You have planned for him. Create in him a clean and pure heart full of contrition so that he may turn away from substance abuse. Help him Lord. May he be able to find family, friend, loved ones, co-workers, groups and institutions that can help him rise above his current problems.

Bless his passengers from last night. May they be healed completely and regain good health.

Bless his parents, family, and friends with strength so that they may be a source of comfort and support for him during this trying times.

All these I ask in the mighty name of Your Son, Jesus, our Lord and Savior, through the intercession of our Mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary. AMEN.

St. Monica, pray for him.

Thank you all. My eyes have been opened to the fact that he probably has been suffering from bi-polar disorder for some time, which has led to this turn of events. I am praying that he will agree to seek help and/or a diagnosis...but he is stubborn. Lord Jesus, open his eyes and heart.

Lord Jesus,You said,
"I have come to set the captives free."
We are captive and need Your healing touch.
Free us, Lord, from our addictions,
so that we will be:
...free from the cares and worries that stifle our happiness;
...free from sins that cling to us, and to which we cling;
...free from all compulsive behavior
that prevents us from becoming what You, Lord,
have planned for us.
Bring us, loving Savior,
to the experience of abundantlife
which You promised.

Amen.
