They are now (reluctantly) on my boycott list. This is just disgusting to me. The Ellen spokesman thing didn't bother me, but this ad is where I draw the line.

Do you have a Kohls in your area? They are reasonably priced, have women's sizes and stylish clothes. They're my new go-to store now that Penney's has gone downhill.

Decades of published research in sociology, psychology etc. has shown the best situation for a child to be brought up in is by a mother and father who are married.
Having both a mother and a father has different benefits and homosexual adoption is wrong because it denies a child of having either a mother or a father.
Glenn Stanton and Bill Maier in their book, ' Marriage on Trial: The Case Against Same-sex Marriage and Parenting:'
'The two most loving mothers in the world can’t be a father to a little boy. Love can’t equip mothers to teach a little boy how to be a man. Likewise, the two most loving men can’t be a mother to a child. Love does little to help a man teach a little girl how to be a woman. Can you imagine two men guiding a young girl through her first menstrual cycle or helping her through the awkwardness of picking out her first bra? Such a situation might make for a funny television sitcom but not a very good real-life situation for a young girl.'

I like Kohl's too. One of the stores I service is a Kohls and their overhead music is THE best. I think they might have Christian owners because the selection is very...positive

I've just lost 35 lbs on my way to losing 100, and have had to get a lot of new slacks (gone from size 52 to 44 so far). Drat it, but Penney's has been selling Van Heusen summer weight pants in a variety of sizes, and I can't resist $60 slacks going for $30 while the sale is on. I don't buy anything else there. Target for boxer shorts and t-shirts, Dillard's for dress shirts, suits, and jackets. I'll avoid Penneys if I can.

Target supports my community and schools, and they don't promote this garbage in their advertising. They also support lots of pro-family organizations, so, I see this as them being 'fair'.

Target is donating 100% of the proceeds for their sales of rainbow shirts to Family Equality Council, who is advancing same-sex marriage, yet Target will not allow Salvation Army bell ringers on their premises at Christmas time? Not sure I see the fairness.
I have e-mailed Target and Penny's to let them know I will no longer be taking my business to them. I'm not sure there is much point to it as I imagine other companies will continue to cave to the demands of homosexuals. If nothing else, maybe I'll save some money!

I can respect that. I've seen a lot of people outside collecting money for charities, poor families, etc, but have never really taken inventory on who they are. Honestly I don't pay too much attention to them at all. I will start to, though, and am the type of person if I notice something out of whack I will ask to speak to a manager...however fruitless my nagging may end up being

Re: Just in Time For Father’s Day: JCPenney Rolls Out Two Daddies Ad
I'm disappointed in Penney's for doing this. It's weird too because i never saw them being that kind of company. I guess I'll just shop at Kohl's or Younker's for now. BTW some asked whether Kohl's was christian. I thought it was owned (or used to be) by Herb Kohl who is (or was) the US senator from Wisconsin and is Jewish. IDK if he still owns the store or not. Kohl's is great though

Congratulations on your "downsizing"! Kohls also has Van Heusen pants for $30:

I'm also avoiding Penneys...I used to shop there all the time.

It's all about sexual immorality. Sex is the most important thing. Relationships and commitment are entirely optional. It took 40 years for the poison to drip into our veins. It took that long for desensitization and the devolution of the media from generally supporting Christian values to opposing them.
Human evolution and technology have nothing to do with it. The constant 24/7 message is: have sex with anybody a lot, whenever.
We're only ripe for the new evangelization.

You haven't read how President Obama's views toward same sex marriage have evolved? To my fellow Catholics, please analyze the lies as new words and phrases are introduced to us by the media.
Diversity: Total acceptance of same-sex marriage, including transgendered and bisexual persons who wish to do the same.
Evolved: He or she has now changed his or her mind to make him/her say: "I agree with your agenda. My thinking has "evolved." Baloney. 100% baloney. In Obama's case, the gay press gave him a hard time for not delivering on his promised support for them. Now, he's doing as he was told, and election time is approaching.
Obama receives pressure to "evolve" his views on gay marriage in January 2011:

I feel so sorry for children who are subjected to this kind of thing.
