SIster Beth,

I saw some of your posts some time back and know you are facing some very profound darkness. Please feel free to PM me anytime. I used to answer a crisis hotline and I love to listen to people's stories and try to understand their situation and even feel their pain. I even know a place with another person who has been horribly tortured and raped and is much, much better -- she can surely hear you if I can't.

Perhaps you are in but "labor pains" for the glory that is to come. If that's too much to hope for, know that you are valuable and loved by at least God and me.

Alan

Thanks Alan I just get very down and it seems that when I try to reach out to friends about my grief, they say "But you have an angel in Heaven now, Pray to him". Firstly, he's not an angel; he's a Saint. And secondly, I just want a friend who will sit with me+listen without coming up with all sorts of solutions. Because when your baby is dead, there are no solutions.

That's always a problem. People seem to think that to be a good friend, or at least a good person, they have to offer advice. Like you say, all you want is an ear.

And when we listen to each other, we have listened to Jesus himself for whatsoever you do ... and God told us through the cloud, "Listen to Him."

I'm not going anywhere, God willing. Great if you feel free to open up here; if not, my inbox is ready to receive.

Alan
