How does one move along in membership from junior member to the next level?

I tried to access the tech support forum and it told me my privileges were not sufficient or the forum doesn't exist?

I have started new threads on here but lately my threads have disappeared w/o explanation?

Thanks

I am not quite sure what the tech support forum is, but typically when members of CAF see a message such you describe, it means that the thread or post we are trying to access is no longer visible to the public. We lack sufficient privileges in that we are not a moderator, administrator or other staff employed by Catholic Answers.

But to answer your first question, membership level is based on two things: the number of posts we have made and the length of time we have belonged to CAF. In your case, you have belonged to CAF long enough to advance several levels. However, you need to post more often.

Specifically, you will need a total of 500 posts to qualify as Regular Member. Here is a list of the various membership levels and what is required for each.

The best way to find out would be to send a private message (PM) to the moderator of the forum where your thread(s) disappeared. If you don't know how to determine who is the current moderator of a given forum, please let me know and I will explain.

You'll advance if you accumulate more posts. I think 500 is the point to become a "regular member."

I don't know about the deleted posts. It would be a good idea to make sure you don't make any posts on banned topics (check individual forum stickies).
